This document is about starting to program in Obix. It is a step by step introduction based on learning by example.
Please consider the following prerequisites:
The reader should have at least a basic experience in object oriented programming languages like Java, C#, or any other similar language.
If you want to practice the exercises (recommended) you must first install Obix on your computer. Obix can be downloaded from http://www.obix.lu/downloads/system/license_agree.htm.
It is strongly recommended to first read Part I, “Fundamental concepts” in Obix programming language manual. This chapter explains some simple concepts that should be understood before starting to use Obix.
